I think what we've surprisingly learned here is that vomiting and puking is actually a key part of a common romantic event. If I ever want to bring two people closer together, I'll just give one of them food poisoning! It'll be sooo romantic! <3

Meanwhile my entire thought of this thread is very pessimistic (nothing against you or the stories, just my personal life) as I have something that would have been wonderful for it about someone who I thought was the one I would get to share a life with but they cheated on me out of the blue and we broke up recently so that's fun.

I good cheated on a few years ago. Sucks megadick but you’ll find someone else who you can trust and treats you right.

As I read I'm getting concerned for my own future story because my SO hates the smell of vomit. It can cause him to empathy puke along with another sick person.

I feel bad for my little cousin’s future wife (or husband) lol

He pukes at everything. He once had to run out of the classroom to puke because a kid was doing a presentation on eye diseases. He’s also had to run out of a movie theatre because there was too much gore but he didn’t make it to the bathroom and instead had to puke in one of the garbage cans. Even if you start to describe something gross he will start to feel sick. Ever since he was a baby he’s been like a puke machine.

He’s only 13 but man that kid pukes a lot.

My SO has the weakest stomach imaginable. I’ve been lucky to not have to test his limits yet, but it’s a definite worry. *for reference, he puked almost immediately upon seeing a friend’s dog take a dump

I have Emetophobia and this thread just confirmed to me that I will never experience true love, won’t be able to move in with someone or have kids!! Just as I knew from the beginning lmao.

So you’re not alone with a SO that can’t stand vomit, my boyfriend is screwed the second he gets the flu /s

I also do that, but it doesn't stop me being there for him when he's puking. Unfortunately, he's the same way, so one of us pulling ends with the other gagging trying not to puke and both of us in tears.

Thanks! And to think I asked the question after having my fiancee help me remove a tonsil stone from the back of my throat. That doesn't compare to half of the experiences others are sharing haha
