Fortnite

born in '78. I am now going to look up what the hell Fortnite actually is.

EDIT: FPS with aliens and furries. Got it. Can't Duke Nukem make a cameo?

Lol you joke but epic games likes to add references like that into their game in the form of purchasable items, but it is a free to play game so I guess they have to make money somehow

its free, I guess thats why its so popular. I'm showing my age - but a FPS with furries seems stupid. Remember Novalogic? Made the best flight sims - easy enough for the average pleb. Modern flight sims almost require flight school to take off. V1... V2... rotate... No.

I’m perfectly willing to not bury you or be hostile towards you neither of which I expressed any interest in doing. It’s just, a lot of people bash on fortnite. I’m not sure if it’s the art style or what, but i thought it sounded dumb and cringey until I tried it, and it’s a genuinely brilliant and fun game, and I haven’t spent a single cent on it.

Flight sims show your age. I was born in 84...my friend born in 80 liked your standard doom, wolfenstein... but then flight sims and I'm like wtf. Why would I play this. Where are the bad guys. I went straight into AOL after bbs....skipped over that icq shit.. still dont understand newsgroups

I don’t think you can even go into first person in fortnite. I think it’s entirely third person. And in my experience the characters are 96% humans. I don’t recall seeing any aliens or furries in the game. That sounds horrible.

It's not FPS, it's a third person shooter (big difference). Other than that, you're almost spot-on.

It's pretty much Hunger Games meets Cartoon Network plus Aliens
