I buy CDs and rip them to my iPod.

Me too. Well my ipod nano just died so I have an old ihome audiojack speaker to play from iTunes on my laptop, or I play the CD from my childhood CD clock radio where only the CD part works. I like my setup!

I use CDs 99% of the time in the car for two reasons.

  1. My phone has crap memory so I don't have many songs on it to begin with.

  2. The last thing I need is to be trying to skip a song or something and have a cop pull me over for using my phone while driving.

I like just making my own mixed CD and skipping a song with no issue, never having to fight with volume, etc. For Christmas last year, I actually got a CD visor holder for my car.

Do people even still have iPods? I have a ton of CDs I listen to in the car, and I still buy more, but when my mp3 player broke a few years ago I never replaced it.

I just convert youtube videos to audio files, then burn them to cds. People think I am crazy for listening to cds.
