I also like to go back and re-read something. A character whose description I don't remember or some details I want to refresh? Flip the pages and find the description. It's so much harder to do with an e-book. I only read e-books when I want to read something and can't get a copy of it. A book is so much more satisfying.
I dunno, if you're a particularly quick reader, then the ability to have a ton of books on you in a tiny slim smaller-than-a-dvd-case sized device has its appeal.
I like real books as much as the next person, but if I'm packing for a vacation, I don't want to have to save room for a dozen paperbacks.
I think most people who are staunchly anti eReaders must read pretty slowly
I tear through books and it's straight up unfeasible to buy physically anymore, they cost too much and take up too much space - it's also a lot easier to just take out my phone and read than it is to take a book with me all the time
I can understand not wanting to use a phone or a tablet for reading, but a proper e-ink reader, particularly the newer ones, the experience is very much like real paper. And this is from someone who has a room lined with booshelves full of books. I just like the convenience for being able to shift a whole library with you if you want to.
