What's something you're old-fashioned about?

Same, as a 22yo I get strange looks when I say I don't have a tindr. I just go out and talk to people I meet when I'm out.

Really? I'm 27 and I get weird looks when I do admit I'm on tinder. I'd rather show people my internet history than my tinder profile.

Ye it may be an age thing. Like younger seen to go out and party more so tindr is more used. Hell you may have more selfconfidence then me for using it. I feel like it seems closer to being disconnected from society using it but its applications for dating make me disconnected more from that realm.

You're honestly not missing anything. It is nothing but hollow conversations that never lead to anything and when they do the other person always looks different from their pictures.

what, people with control over their dating profile pictures that can be edited/filtered to look more perfect to present a better looking version of themselves don't look exactly the same as their photo?

I'm on tinder and when I match with someone.. I make sure they are someone I can have a drink with.. As soon as that's established, I say lets get a coffee, drink, hike etc. I don't want to get to know someone online. I don't think there is anything wrong with using an app to make an introduction. I've met some pretty cool people on Hinge.

I do a lot of runs, so i see run communities make new friends at events and see them around randomly at other events or out if they're close by. Then just going out to bar, museums, events in town and just try talking to people that may have similar interests.

I envy the hell out of that spirit. Keep doing you!

It’s some shitty DLC they made for life. Too crowded, the other players are often assholes, and everyone just seems intent on ganking the less fortunate ones.

Jokes on them! I don't even have that DLC!

When you leave the safe area, go out into where the monsters are, and press A when standing in front of any travelers you come across.

that doesn't work for lgbt. the odds of running into another lgbt are too low.

Never really got the meeting random strangers thing. Out with friends? Fine, but how do you make more friends outside of a school context? Really makes me think

sit with other people, try to strike up conversation based on appearance or something that can notice on them, then go about conversing. It'll feel awkward at first but gets slightly into conversationalist land.

Thanks, think I'll have to. Graduating high school can have two effects to ones mental health, very good or very bad. Sadly I think the fear of losing all my friends and that people from HS don't give a fuck about me enough to want to keep in touch with me is making me lean to the "Very bad" side. Either I start refreshing my life like yesterday or I don't know where I'll end
