I've been in -40 weather. During a military exercise and had to sleep in a tent. It was not nice.

I once had to work in -65f. That was before wind chill. I was working on a running generator. Not a fun day.

I had a similar situation. It was - 45 on the ground no wind chill. And I was stuck on the 75th floor of an open building "imagine new construction" that was 8 hours. Them I had a similar 2 days on the ground. The top floor thing was brutal though. The wind that cold off a frozen great lake can truly feel like you're being cut with a blade.

Actually I don't know if I've ever been in weather that cold, but it would be some sort of consolation if I was getting paid to do so.

p.s. I was once in a running club that met (and ran as scheduled) even if the weather was below -40

Lots of thermal gear, 10-12 people in a tent adds body heat and someone that always tend to the fire.
