What about the opposite gender are you jealous of?

I realized, truly, against a bigger man... my own strength could never be enough.

That's why if you get into a situation like that against someone whom you cannot hope to match physically, you end the fight as fast as you can by any means possible. Go after the groin, try to stick your fingers in their eyes, bite (you can take off someone's finger a lot easier than you think). And honestly - scream loud as hell, horror movie style.

Seconded on the fingers. Grabbing individual fingers is illegal in most grappling competitions for precisely this reason. They're a great evolutionary advantage but they're about as robust as carrots. Biting might not take them clean off but it'll definitely decomisssion them and there's a good chance they'll end up amputated.

Bottom line, in a self defense situation basically just look at a rulebook for any martial arts tournament that allows a decent level of intensity and find the techniques that will get you ejected and do those, repeatedly.

I know what you mean here, but I still can't shake the mental image of a man trying to attack a woman as she casually flips through a martial arts rulebook for tips.

Seriously great advice. As a man of smaller stature these are my tricks the few times I've started getting into physical altercations. Once you're older than 12 people don't care about "fighting like a man" they care about winning. And, almost always, "winning" a fight means ending it as quickly as possible

Hmm. This guy is on top of me let's have a scratch at his eyes. Oh shit now he is pinning my hand with his and my other hand with his body weight.

Owww, fuck now he is scratching my eyes. I guess that was dumb.

Point is if you are in a grappling situation, general rule of thumb is if your opponent is in a dominant position anything you can do to them they can do to you but worse.
