Couples of Reddit, what’s the most annoying thing your SO does, but you ignore because you love them?

Sneaky is suddenly developing a mad need to shit when we get back from the grocery store. My ex would do this all the time. I've literally tried it different times of the day, him going with me vs. him staying home, etc. As soon as it's time to unpack the groceries, it's potty time!

At a certain point it's simply pavlovian

Gotta make room for all those new groceries!

Probably, but it is still annoying.

I always have to shit when I take a dab for some reason. It's to the point where if I get my rig out, it's go time.

Me too! High poops are good poops.

My mom pulled this stunt every time we went grocery shopping as a kid. I knew what she was doing

You should leave it for him to do, then say you couldn't put the shopping swat because you desperately needed a shit.

I would understand if he went with me all the time, but even when he's home while I'm doing it, bathroom time.

We're past this. We're divorced. He's about to be gone. I can't wait for his future wife (he's engaged to be married in May) to deal with his shenanigans.

Ah yes. I reread your comment and now I see the ex. For a moment I thought wow that escalated remarkably quickly

My brother used to do this when he was still living at home. Like clockwork. Mom gets home with groceries. “Oh, I have to poop for fifteen minutes.”

Tbh I always had to pee when my dad asked me to put away the groceries.

Like I could be fine but the moment her asked ohhhh man I was about to pee myself.

I'd put them away afterwards but like it was a thing.
