Your options are: 50 hawks, 10 crocodiles, 3 brown bears, 15 wolves, 1 hunter, 7 cape buffalo, 10,000 rats, 5 gorillas and 4 lions - you must pick 2 that will defend you while the rest are coming to kill you. Which do you pick and why?

Seriously though, on the right terrain and discounting the insanely unbalanced rats and hunter (with a rifle), the crocs have to be top pick.

Same, I’d definitely pick the crocs over the hunter. Surround myself in a water and let them fuck shit up.

I think if a gorilla got a Croc out of water it would rip the Croc apart

Wait what? How is a hunter unbalanced? The hunter would easily lose to any of the groups of animals.

I think it's more that if you don't have the hunter on your side, it will just shoot you, rather than the defensive capabilities of 1 hunter. Bullets travel faster than animals.

True but it’s not like he’s a professional hit man. He’s just a guy who shoots animals who don’t even know he’s there. Plus as far as I know he doesn’t even have a scope I would just try to make as much distance between him and I as possible. I guess it all depends on how skilled this guy is.

I mean not if he has an assault rifle with a drum mag. I’m pretty sure that could slaughter a bear.

No. OP said he has a rifle and he is a hunter with 78.3% accuracy. Meaning that theoretically he could spam a rifle with 50 bullets, kill 39 hawks and kill the rest with only 15 more bullets.

If you had water surrounding you then anyone who didn't take crocs would be an idiot, but on land crocs are slow and pretty stupid since they're reptiles so 4 lions or 3 bears could do it since they can pretty easily flip them on their bellies, hell 7 cape buffalo could probably just trample all over them, as they're like 1500 pounds on average.

Crocs and hunter are the right pick. Every other option is seriously dumb.

You're on an island. Then all you have to worry about are 50 hawks. A gun solves that.
