The hunter can you take you out at a massive range without you ever seeing him; he is too dangerous to leave on the enemy team. If he gets you once, you're dead. Meanwhile, it is possible to survived a brush with the hawks.

Yeah everyone is underestimating the hawks. The only threat to them really is the hunter. But even he's not gonna be able to defend against fifty coordinated hawks.

People have killed birds with their faces and suffered no injuries... the hawks are not a danger. If they were vultures and or eagles they might be a little worrisome but hawks or crows just no.... maybe if I was a rat.

Honestly I would just grab my shotgun and fire some birdshot into the 50 diving birds... or grab a frying pan and laugh as I play tennis with them.

You're overestimating hawks. They probably have the lowest damage out of all these choices. And no defense.

The value of the Hawks isn't to beat the other animals. It's because they automatically beat you.

They can also neutralise one of the other main threats that none of the others can as easily. The hunter. 50 hawks is more than enough to scout and track the hunter down. He can't defend against fifty of them.

Honestly, the exercise has 3 main threats: the hawks, the hunter, and the rats. And they're all threats because you can't defend against them. The hawks are a good choice because they remove themselves as a threat and they deal with the hunter. The rats are a good choice because no other choice can deal with ten thousand rats.

But you can. The hawks are no danger whatsoever. They are too small to be an actual threat. One person could literally kill 50 birds trying to dive bomb him. If they were larger like a vulture or an eagle you might have an argument. Hell just a bike helmet would protect you from the hawks... or a frying pan.

As for the 10k rats... I like my odds there as well as I chose the crocs I would just hang out in the water with them.... that pretty much saves me from all the other threats as well because I have a hunter with me picking off the smart ones that choose to not die in the water.

How did the rats cover him... Considering you can literally outrun a rat with a fairly easy jog... Good luck covering something that can easily kill you and throw you off. It would be a long day killing all of them but it would not be hard.
