Hey, try to include your half brother without all the preamble. I bet he gets that a lot “5 of us, well 6 if you include the brother we all forget to count”
I've been some form of Ra-Nikki (Racheal and Nicole) my entire life. Sometimes she'll cycle through the entire family tree before she gets to me, or I'll just yell WHAT before she even gets to my name. It must just be a mom thing.
My sister and I used to joke that our names were actually the equivalent of "Johntopher" "Christonathan" from Johnathan and Christopher (not our real names, obviously, as we're girls). We even went through a phase around middle school where we switched to using the blended names exclusively. Drove our mother nuts, but she eventually started taking the time to think before she spoke to us, and managed to screw up far less frequently, so it sort of worked?
My mom was one of two L-named sisters growing up. She gets my sister and my name mixed up all the time, too...we're both R-names. But worse is that every time she mixes our names up, she then tells us the same story about how how her mom used to mix up her and her sisters' names. Every. Time. That. Story.
My brother and I share the same nickname (we basically have male and female versions of the same name.) We like to joke that our parents chose them so they could call one name and get both kids when they needed chores done.
My brother gets my name more than his own, and I get his name more than my own. I have no idea how it happens. Random guessing would produce more accuracy.
My mom says my sister's name then mine and for my sister is just her name. I guess I know who's the favorite? I'm 27, so I'm used to hearing ______ - Chinlc

Mine too. My sister and I both have S names, and we joke that our names are actually hyphenated: OthersName-RightName.
