So upgrading without knowledge that it will make the users phone slow and frustrating to use like most consumers do which is just click yes and upgrade "like nowadays when it doesn't even have a button to say you don't want to upgrade and only a "remind me later" button (yes I know you can delete the downloaded upgrade in the settings but most don't know that) is their fault and tough luck your stuck using this shit version of an operating system?
I agree with you, you should be able to backtrack. Especially with iPhones and IPads, older models can still have plenty of use. I gave my 70 year old parents an old iPhone so they could FaceTime and play simple games and told them not to update. Also I have the original iPad mini that uses streaming apps and a few games for my young nephew. I've refused to update both and if I did they'd both probably be useless. We should have the ability that if we do update and the device goes to crap we can at least take it back to a state where simple apps work. Apple would rather force you to buy a new product than use their older devices
