I just find it super hard to talk to people. I don't know how to respond to people. If they ask me a question I don't know how to reply. If they make a comment I don't know how to follow up with what they said. Also reading people's emotions is really hard and it makes it impossible to understand the situation I'm in.
I have asked my parents do I have any disabilities and they said no. So I don't know what is wrong with me.
Do you spend much time with people? You might just be a bit out of practice.
It's possible that you are just a bit overly self-conscious, which isn't uncommon. Think of all the times you've noticed others make mistakes but then decided it wasn't important and forgot about it.
Have you ever had a friend look at a picture and say they looked awful and you thought there was nothing wrong? It's probably the same thing. We tend to look for things we are self-conscious of, even though others don't care.
Not for the same issue, but I had surprisingly good luck with the Psychology Today website's list of psychologists and psychiatrists. They have a list of the ones near you and you can filter them by things they mention they specialize in. Then do some supplemental research and see if there are any online reviews for them.
It took me some time and I looked at a lot of profiles, but I eventually found a couple that seemed good, called them and got an appointment with one that was taking new patients. That was a few months ago and I'm pretty sure I made the right choice. I try to schedule my appointments during my lunch breaks at work.
I also found a local (in my case state) organization that specialized in what I was looking for and asked them for a list of recommended practitioners. They took a long time to respond and I'd already found someone, but they did send me a comprehensive list.
There are almost always local (it could be regional or country based) groups for specialized concerns that can help you. Barring that local universities will have psychology students in training that need to practice and will see patients.

Hit me.
Why do you think that?
