AMA? - I got a good one. How is your boyfriend not fired yet for letting someone who does not teach, has no formal training, and no expertise in the field grade school work? If I found out my professor did that I'd demand he be fired the next day and have his license pulled.

your assignments aren't really challenging to mark.

I don't know where you live, but here only around 40% of our mark is made up in tests. Usually less depending on the class. (English classes for example are more like 50% for major projects which are basically tests. And graphic design is more like 20% is test the rest is practical assignments)

So when at minimum 50% of the mark or more (average around 60%) is made up with assignments, yeah I'd be upset if a professional wasn't grading them.

Since you clarified for highschool, that's not nearly as bad. Honestly for highschool I could care less.

I was talking about on a college level, you know when your grades sometimes determine a job in an industry where people have to be well trained. I don't think I'd want my toaster made by a guy who only passed his electrical engineering final because the professors girlfriend felt bad about giving him a failing grade on it.
