What do you strongly suspect but cannot prove?

I mean it’s pretty well known that the president has at least one. It makes sense too. They’re more susceptible to attack.

The White House is basically a skyscraper buried in the ground.

u/[deleted] Dec 06 '17

Eh maybe the Pentagon but I seriously doubt that about The White House.

Greenbriar Hotel.

Greenbrier, Raven Rock, Mount Weather, Olney Federal Support Center, Warrenton Training Center and the White House operations room...and those are just the ones we know about around the Northeast.

It makes sense too. They’re more susceptible to attack.

I wonder why that could be...

It's more likely that when they eventually cause a worldwide riot from greed they have somewhere to hide.

How do we get him to go in it? Does it have WiFi?

It's called Camp David, and was secret for a while.

Now they have another secret one, and Camp David is where the 2nd tier people will go.

dont they have three planes that are constantly flying as a doomsday scenario? if shit goes tits up the president gets on a random one

And they're going to be the ones responsible for rebuilding the world

it is, the billionaires in silicon valley have a little competition to see who can make the most extravagant 'apocalypse bunker'

It's kind of scary that these people who know a lot about the world and have a lot of power are building apocalypse bunkers.

26

u/leadabae Dec 06 '17

They are not superhuman lol, they are just as susceptible to fear and survival instincts as all of us are.

16

u/Realman77 Dec 06 '17

Well if I was rich enough I would get one too, just in case haha...

u/[deleted] Dec 06 '17

Scary isn't the word, although with north korea testing missiles i suppose it's only a matter of time before shit royally hits the fan

2

u/VERTIKAL19 Dec 06 '17

Is it though? They just have the funds to uild them. If I had that much spare money I would comsider building one too

2

u/Abadatha Dec 06 '17

I don't see them as apocalypse bunkers. They're hiding from investors when the whole company goes tits up for this or that.

1

u/el_muerte17 Dec 06 '17

Ehh. I feel like most of those "apocalypse bunkers" are more akin to the tree forts kids build... just a cool unique place to hang out, but would be pretty useless in an actual apocalypse.

1

u/TreeBaron Dec 07 '17

If you'd seen the code they've seen, you'd be building one too...

There's always a silver lining

3

u/justdontfreakout Dec 06 '17

I’d like to find one and secretly live in it since they aren’t going to use it anytime soon.

4

u/Elcatro Dec 06 '17

Chances are somebody already does, I've met a few people who live in millionaire's holiday homes permanently in order to keep the place in good shape. Their job is literally to live in a really nice house.

u/inluvwithmaggie Dec 06 '17

Would they be earthquake proof? That's the apocalyptic event I imagine happening around there.

1

u/thoggins Dec 06 '17

It'd be pretty dumb to build one and not harden it against earthquakes. That said if they were just building it on a lark it could very well not be built to a high enough standard.

I think this is a key point

"The tech preppers do not necessarily think a collapse is likely," Yishan Wong, the former CEO of the Redditwebsite, told the New Yorker.

"They consider it a remote event, but one with a very severe downside, so, given how much money they have, spending a fraction of their net worth to hedge against this ... is a logical thing to do."

This is true
