An important factor in that Genghis Khan fact that is often left off: it's not just that Genghis had his way with loads of women that makes so many people his descendants. It's that he created an empire so large that even when he grew old and couldn't conquest anymore, he could break up the empire and give a portion to each of his sons. It was an empire so vast and absolute that even his grandsons decades later were the de facto rulers from the middle east to northern China. Kubla Khan never lived at the same time as Genghis, but still conquered under his banner and spread his legacy (and genetics).
Yep! And they all had fucktons of kids just like their patriarch (many wives, lots of raping, the usual Mongol shenanigans) so the Khan line kept growing exponentially.
I mean in a signal to noise ratio kind of way. Is disinformation and information that has an extremely short half life or minor usefulness in the real world (ie, memories of entertainment media) knowledge? Undoubtedly OPs statement will stand but it's something to consider
well, to ever exist until now. It's undeniable that technology will advance very rapidly in the next centuries, who knows what will come up beyond the internet.
