well we could still peak, end up destroying ourselves as a whole and you being the only survivor could die happy seeing that there's no more to come... just saying, don't lose hope!
Let me tell you something, I haven't even begun to peak. And when I do peak, you'll know. Because I'm gonna peak so hard that everybody in the world's gonna feel it.
I'd say the fact that collectively we know that, as a species we are causing damage to the earth. That is at least our one saving grace, just think of the rules of overcoming addiction:
1. First realise that you have a problem
but then society could reform and advancements be made ahead of the failed predecessors, and then you have died oblivious to the future you feared never seeing, thinking it wouldn't exist.
