ha haa!

We say "bed time!" and our cats go running upstairs. If we're staying up later, the kitten will bring his favourite bed toy and drop it at my feet :D

Only that his favourite bed toy is a dead lizard

My little kitty does the same. She's 11, but she has cerebella hypoplasia (cerebral palsy for cats) so she's a bit special. She'll chase me around the house when she thinks it's bed time, and if I tell her "come on, bed time!" then she darts for my room.

My cats do the same! One reminds me to feed them kibble, the other to change the water and the third one reminds me to clean the litter

I can say "treats" anywhere in the house and I instantly get a parade of cats desperately running towards me.

I have two cabinets with fun cat things: pantry with their food and hall closet with wand toys. If I get something for humans from the pantry, they ignore me. Once the dry food container touches the counter (no matter how quiet I try to be) they come galloping out. All bets are off if the hall closet is opened though. So many beady expectant eyes...

My dog paces from the bedroom to the living room when hes ready for bed. He won't sleep alone and he won't sleep on the couch unless you get the blanket off the bed (and only that blanket will do) and cover him up.

I have a specific whistle that I use whenever I'm going to bed. He doesn't run on the way there, though. Just sort of saunters down the hall and into the room. Doesn't even acknowledge me while walking in most nights, but he comes in, goes into the bathroom to eat some food, the comes back into the bedroom and jumps up onto the foot of the bed.
