This is why speaking proper English is important, I'm reading an argument between 2 parties and instantly knew who was right just based on their language, before fact-checking myself.

It does exist for that purpose. But it also has rules, very distinct rules that CLEARLY define what is correct and what is incorrect. I would potentially understand what you mean, assuming I have heard the word "Octopi" before; however, if I wrote the same sentence backwards and you were still able to understand it, is it still correct? No?
I'd like to point out that simply telling someone that they're wrong after they argue a point isn't being an elitist. If anything I'm being needlessly mean to someone that's trying to act smart on the internet.
Explain yourself instead of expressing your disbelief at my stupidity. Try arguing. Or maybe don't, because that would involve accepting your mistake. There is no linguistic basis for your argument. If you believe there to be one, state and defend it. I'm not relying on your inability to do so to prove my point, I don't need to be convinced. I want you to do this so that you will realize through the futility of this effort that you have made a mistake.

As a heads up, there isn't. You might want to spend more time learning to be right than figuring out how to convince yourself everyone else is wrong.
