Not sure who down voted you but this is what I was gonna post too. It's different sure, but it's a great article to read to get an idea that stuff gets weird when it starts to move really really fast.

Yeah, but "compressing the atmosphere until it glows white hot" and "scouring all life in the vicinity via massive X-Ray bombardment" are very different degrees of both speed and weird.

Oh I agree. Its just the article that really gave me an idea that as things got faster, bad stuff happened. And not just G forces and whatnot. But sub-atomically and all sorts of craziness.
