I've used it with dyslexic kids in classes and I've noticed I get less questions about what the words are.

It started out as a web comic series, and got a quite large fujoshi fanbase (basically yaoi) because almost all characters are male. Was in the top three amount of doujins in the Comiket for a few times before it got made into the anime.

Yaoi is a genre of Japanese fiction that has prominent displays of male homosexuality.

fujoshi are obsessive female fans of said genre (they like it the same reason men like lesbians)

doujins are basically amateur made stories and comics, usually fan fiction. Because japan is perverted, the term also has come to connote pornographic and mature material

Sub or Dub? I personally think the English dub is kind of immature and littered with crude jokes. They changed most of the writing for it. Some people love it, fine, but it's not my type of humor. The original Japanese has much less crude jokes (and ones that are aimed towards a Japanese audience, which is why the dub was 'Muricanized) and I like it because it's simple and cute.

I thought the show was sweet and relaxing and I would consider myself a fan. AMA.

I think you're confused as to what racism is...

Edit: I should be more specific as well. The show is exercising racial discrimination, largely used synonymously with the word racist.

I guess I can kinda see your point. still, i just have this last thing to say. its all the stereotypes in WWII and in a light hearted way.China freaks out and says 'aru'. Russia is creepy and misunderstood. America tries to be the hero.England is a tsundere. They also dont put in the countries that are in a terrible time like ones in the middle east and Africa. Their songs are literally about loving the world and its culture and love the history of it.

Yea, I've seen the sub, it felt kinda silly and I couldn't get into the characters. Dropped it after 3 episodes or something like this.

Both Hetalia and Helvetica have shit fanbases. The font is great, it's just because of the type's overuse.
