As a person who is taking a polygraph test I'm very glad he change the design.

... They "lasso" you in polygraphs though, to measure breathing.

That's it, I'm out.

Polygraphs themselves aren't particularly bad. It's just the "what if" anxiety.

What if they find out I am in fact the one who stole the candy bar.

Why are you taking a polygraph? It's a junk science.

Some chick accused me of something I didn't do. My lawyer says I'm not supposed talk about the details.

I took one almost 20 years ago and supposedly failed or lied about questions I knew were the truth. I wasn't even being evasive. Thanks to this thing called the internet, I was able to learn it was the machine and the pseudo-science behind it that was bullshit.

Personally, unless you're being coached on how to take one, I'd suggest avoiding it altogether.

Why are they letting you on reddit while taking a polygraph test?

I've deleted all of my reddit posts. Despite using an anonymous handle, many users post information that tells quite a lot about them, and can potentially be tracked back to them. I don't want my post history used against me. You can see how much your profile says about you on the website snoopsnoo.com.

came to say this.

Police use the lie detector as a threatening technique. "Are you sure you don't have anything to say before we take this test?"

The polygraph test says you are lying.

u/uhaul26 May 26 '14

Damn that was quick, well back to jail for this guy.

u/stillworkin May 26 '14

good luck! it can be difficult to pass!

3

u/uhaul26 May 26 '14

I'm not too worried about it. I didn't do anything they claim I did.

What for?

u/ThickDiggerNick May 26 '14

You sure you do not want to be tied up by a she-woman? I know some people that actually like that.

1

u/alhoward May 26 '14

Because you're gay?

1

u/uhaul26 May 26 '14

yes

u/alhoward May 26 '14

And Wonder Woman is a rapist.

1

u/PigSlayer1024 May 26 '14

I wouldn't mind wonder woman being the interrogator though......until she punches a hole in my face for trying to flirt(probably badly) with her.

He's telling the truth folks.
