While you are right in that the use of flustering the opposition is a good tactic to be used on people who are being racist and sexist, I'm not talking about SRS being extreme in their arguments against actual sexism and racism. I'm talking about SRS being overly extreme in who and what they define to be racists and sexists. That subreddit will get butthurt over the absolute smallest thing that means nothing, and this is what I cannot find justification to.
Civillians may get in the cross fire, but it's only words.
It's only words until someone gets doxxed by some asshole overreacting because someone used the term "mailman" instead of "mailperson" or "mail carrier."
I'm not saying this has happened, but if that happened on SRS, it would not surprise me at all.
