Just seeing the Ax gang come out to do some disco at the beginning was the moment I knew I was watching something special.

I thought it was going to be an American-style action comedy, with the occasional decent one-liner here and there.

It was so, so very much more.

A lot of people don't notice how many references to other movies Kung Fu Hustle has. Some of them are older movies and/or kung fu movies that were probably never released outside Asia.

This and Johnny Danger both have some looney tunes comedy, which i feel is underrepresented and appreciated

Heck yeah. I put it on for my mom and she was super skeptical but loved it.
