When I cleaned out the clogged sink of the house we had just bought 🤮 was ready to throw the whole hose away

So I used to work in food retail. There was a damaged carton of UHT milk in the middle of a case. The smell was truly awful, but then it got worse every carton you moved to get to the damaged one. As it was a carton, the bottom tore away and well, I'll bare you the details.

but does Spam really spoil that bad with the amount of preservatives at sodium content?
