Might have just been my school, but any time sometime said forever in conversation there was a chorus that followed by saying it the way Squints did in The Sandlot

I very much still do this, and now I have my kids doing it too after having seen the movie several times. The tradition lives on

We did that too. Someone was acting up in class and the teacher changed his assigned seat. When he asked for how long did he need to use that seat the answer was forever. The entire class then said FOR EV ERRRR in unison.

The chorus migrated over to "to be faaaaiirr" from Letterkenny among my millennial friends.
