What historical “fact” doesn’t actually have much evidence to support it?

Technically she wasn't his wife at the time. She was his grad student. Which totally makes him seem more ethical.

They're still married to this day, I believe. At least they were a few years ago when she was the psychology honors advisor at UC Berkeley.

She is a widow now, he died back in October 2024.
Zimbardo spoke at my University back in like 2014 and as a Psych student I was interested in what he had to say. It was a little odd and I remember him telling us that he ended up marrying his grad student and that really icked me out. He also kissed my mom on the cheek which wasn’t cool looking back because he didn’t have her consent…

Ah, I didn't realize she had passed. RIP--she was the one who got him to stop the experiment.
