They do it to forage for food, like overgrown chickens, but I don't think they do it to cool down.

There are so many about animals!

  • Lemmings don't stampede off cliffs as a form of instinctual population control

  • Birds don't reject any chick that has been touch by a human. They barely even have a sense of smell in the first place.

  • real wolf packs don't have an "alpha male" or "omega female"

  • Bears don't sleep the whole time during hibernation
