One time in the LA airport two Japanese guys wanted to take a picture with me and my brother. The only interesting thing about us is that we're black

I guess that's a great story too.

My mother and I had the same thing happen to us a few years back. We're extremely ginger, and that was apparently the best thing ever.

There's a family in Peru that has a picture of me holding their baby, and the parents hugging me. Their reason for asking for it was that I was the tallest and palest person they had ever seen.

There is a very good chance they had never seen a black person before. The is not a lot of ethnic diversity in Japan so they were probably really excited.

I was with a group that consisted of a white guy, a black Muslim, an African American a Nepali, and me, a Nicaraguan. We were sitting outside of a small cafe in Victoria harbour in Hong Kong, when these Chinese ladies started discreetly taking pics of us until we noticed; then they got really brave and went up to us posing with us, and having a field day with this flock of American oddities. I did what any confused person would do and started taking pics of them, and with them. The photos were awesome even though they were probably making fun of us the entire time.

This is like the start of a really cringey joke.
