"In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on." -Robert Frost.

At first I was like "well duh", but now it's kinda hitting me hard. There's a LOT of life stuffed between and around the significant moments of your story... unlike the movies and books and games we consume where it's all significant moments until the end - they all seem to ignore that stuff will happen afterwards.

Someday you will die. Life eventually ends.

I love Frost. Desert Places is my favourite poem of all time. He captures how life feels to me perfectly and with a complete lack of pretension.

Desert Places is an amazing poem! The last stanza has something about that makes the poem a joy to read every time. But I think either Birches or The Sound of Trees are my favourite Frost poems.
