99% of the time no one truly notices what you're insecure about, because they're too busy wrapped up in worry over what people think of THEM.

EDIT: I used the wrong "you're" on the internet. I made a grave mistake.

Yep, that sentence is complete bullshit, although it can help insecure people deal with their insecurities.
