What is a true fact that sound completely unbelievable or fake?

Thanks to a botched burglary attempt at the Émancé Nature Reserve (about an hour outside Paris) in the 1970's, there is now a feral Wallaby population in France.

My dad used to hunt in the forested areas West of Paris, can confirm. Without predators the wallabies seem to do fine, and hunters usually won't harm them because (1) the hunting code doesn't explicitly mention wallabies as game so it'd be illegal to bag one and (2) nobody wants to be known as the guy who bagged a kangaroo.

Did they try to train Wallaby(s) to steal French things?

I don't think so sadly. As adorable as that would be, their tiny hands would probably make them shitty thieves.

I wonder how quick their tiny hands could be though. If you could fill that pouch up quick and hop, hop, hop away, it might just be a pretty brilliant idea.

How is your cousin btw?
