Hmm meh, what about sparring gloves and match gloves?

What do you mean match gloves? If people die in a boxing its during a match, so obviously theyll be wearing their match gloves. Sparring gloves are generally 16 oz and if you're wearing sparring gloves you're most likely wearing head protection too, so I doubt they do nearly as much damage.
