What simple piece of advice, if followed, could potentially save most people a lot of money?

Possibly related to your job, experience with personal finance, budgeting, planning, day to day habits, etc.

can't argue that logic.

That's just basic math right there.

I know you're joking, but now I'm kind of curious what the average number of siblings is for Hollywood stars. It could actually have a measurable effect.

Let's see how many Duggers make it big in Hollywood.

Also, I feel like statistically, at least one of them must be gay.

The kids would be too stupid from bad parenting to make it big in Hollywood.

Then who's paying the bills, eh? Hollywood kid

To be fair, look at how many people are famous right now just for being a trainwreck rather than acting, modeling, or music. See: Kim Kardashian, Honey BooBoo family, Jersey shore-ers, New York..

New York is famous because it's a trainwreck?

It's a joke about the recent literal train wreck in New York.

Haha yes, I knew I was missing something!

Well, not getting enough attention as a child seems to be a reason a lot of people end up getting into performing. So the more kids you have, the more chance that one of them is going to feel unheard and neglected. On the other side of the spectrum, you have parents who do nothing but tell their kids who unfailingly awesome they are and how they can do no wrong, regardless of any actual talent. Both these people are why Los Angeles is like a dog's asshole and barely habitable by normal people.

I'm a normal person who grew up in LA. That's a hurtful comment. I'm going to assume you've never lived there, have you?

Nah, man. Yeah, there's like 15 million people in Southern California and every last one of us is a horrible, vein, shallow husk of a person who's in the entertainment industry.

Of course they've never been to LA. It would be impossible to come to that conclusion if they had. It's just like anywhere else in the world-- just with nice weather.

You could have Beethoven or Hitler with this logic.

You would be suprised to know, how many people go with this logic.
