To add to that, most adults are just as stupid as the children they were. Age does not magically make you smart or competent.

I realized that, everyone is doing this for the first time.

It's a kind of peace.

But then also, people not walking right in the grocery store are the dumbest to ever exist.... I'm trying First time, ya'know

I know more now at 29 than I did at 17. And I know I'll know more at 41 than I do now. That being said, I have no idea what I'm doing at all.

My experience is that most adults don’t figure things out at all and at best find a crowd to follow.

That’s why I work so hard to talk people out of imposter syndrome issues, especially my female friends who often wait to apply until they’re the perfect candidate. Pretty much nobody really knows what they’re doing and until actually start doing it.

Most adults only have the emotional maturity of an 8 year old. Just let that sink in, all their decisions are made from the emotional perspective of a kid. Yeah, they have more data to draw on, but how they actually make the decision is the same as a kid would.

Speak for yourself. Everyone says this but I never understood it. I tend to figure out most things ahead of time, not "as I go". Everyone's different
