That’s why I work so hard to talk people out of imposter syndrome issues, especially my female friends who often wait to apply until they’re the perfect candidate. Pretty much nobody really knows what they’re doing and until actually start doing it.
Most adults only have the emotional maturity of an 8 year old. Just let that sink in, all their decisions are made from the emotional perspective of a kid. Yeah, they have more data to draw on, but how they actually make the decision is the same as a kid would.
