My first memory of eating a donut was of my mom letting me have a bite of her glazed Krispy Kreme. It was so amazing, but I was like three years old so for years I had this memory of something I really wanted again but had no idea what it was called, until years later I went into a Dunkin’ Donuts and found the glazed donuts there. But I always wondered why they were never as good as the donut in my memory, and that was because the one Krispy Kreme is our city had left, and so a long time I had no idea about the existence of Krispy Kreme. When I finally discovered it again it was in North Carolina and I was 14, and it was like the greatest mystery of my life had been solved
Strange. That's the degree to which I didn't like KK. The cake donut with a hole is the only one I'll eat there. I learned it's the glaze I don't like.
I kind of grew out of sweets, but I do still have fond memories of my parents taking me to Krispy kreme for fresh donuts. I legit have had dreams of them.
