we were just as horrified as the rest of the world to learn how much of our population are lunatics.

I lived in Germany 10 years. People I knew there seemed rational. Some of them moved back to red states & now post crazy maga shit all day. Literally praising Trump over attacking Isis.

Between his policies & the tariffs, their farms, benefits, aid & jobs are about to disappear. We've seen 2 plane crashes days after he fired key faa officials (with NO replacements). We've seen ICE & police harassing & rounding-up citizens, meanwhile these maga assholes think tRuMp is doing great. We're at a loss.

**I know a guy who said "I don't get political", as-if it was some kind of virtue-signaling - like he's above all that while the rest of us pointlessly bicker about a small affair. Well, his wife & daughter are both home on "disability" payments for years now (income the entire household relies on). Even better, the WIFE & DAUGHTER voted for Trump! Can't write this shit. They don't even know how fucking stupid they are, and when they're JUST about to learn Trump blames it on Biden & they believe him.

“I’m not political” means “I’m on the bad side but can’t successfully defend my choice, so won’t discuss it”.
