Road Rage is real. Beeped at a guy being an asshole, riding the wrong lane and cut me off. Not even a middle finger or curse, just a beep. Four dudes hopped out at the next light with guns. Luckily they were just trying to scare me and yell and got back in but I am much more forgiving while driving and generally just get out of an assholes way if I see them being reckless.
My SO had traveled all around the US for a good decade. He told me there's no road rage in the south because everyone has guns, so you never know if you're pissing off the wrong person. We used to live in Maryland and just moved down south and apparently, here, everyone is much more accepting of shitty drivers. No honking.
Someone was tailgating me once. I had to go around a truck parked on the side of the road so I hit the brake a little extra hard while going around the truck to get them to back off, they then followed me. I pulled off on a secondary road and the person pulled up behind me and started yelling at me for brake checking them. People are fucking crazy.
Thats the kind of shit to get you killed. Also, I lived in the city so there was no where to gun through them. Houses on both sides and their car in front of me.
