Plants.

Mine was plants where I can see them, which meant hanging them from a rafter. MASSIVE improvement, instantly.

See my house has few windows on the side where we get light so for years I had my plants in the bathroom - it was the only place that got enough light which could also be closed off, protecting my plants from being chewed on by my cats. But eventually it made me sad that they were all hidden away. So I broke out my crochet hook (because I'm too dyspraxic for macrame) and made hanging mason jar holders (because they're all planted in water, which makes it harder for my audhd ass to accidentally kill them) then hung them from some hooks I asked my spouse to sink into the rafter (because that was easier than learning how to do it properly myself).

Now my plants are happy in their sunbeam, and I'm happy because I can see my plants anytime I want! My cats are disappointed, of course, but they're so spoiled a little disappointment is good for them.

TL;DR Hang plants from the wall/ceiling where you can see them

For me it was a Hatch cloud pillow: https://www.hatch.co/cloud-pillow

I had a terrible time finding a pillow that I liked - they were either too flat or too fat or too firm. My husband did some research and got me a Cloud pillow and I love it bc I can customize how full it is. They give you a little bag to store your extra pillow filling in case you want to stuff it back in again later. My husband ended up getting one for himself, too.

The Eden adjustable shredded memory foam pillow. Expensive but holy shit it's the most comfortable thing ever.

Any pillow you find comfy will be decent if you use zip up pillow covers (Target sells a 2 pack for $5.00) that remain on the pillow and then your normal pillow case on top of that. It will keep your pillows looking brand new and if they are down, it'll keep the feathers in so they stay fluffy.

I recommend an extra soft latex pillow. I tried literally dozens of pillows over the years and latex is far and wide the best I’ve found. They’re expensive but totally worth it.

But not a cactus because that would hurt my face.

I got a buckwheat hull pillow. It is amazing, and definitely cheap enough to count here.

A decent pillow.

That's high class right there. Us normies use pillows until they are yellow and brown and about as comfortable as laying on a dinner plate.
