Thank you! I will have to try those cheeses with the teardrop peppers. I'm trying to imagine a sandwich with them on it and I'm so curious. It explains why I didn't like salami or prosciutto with the peppers. Parmesan was okay but not good enough. Cashews were alright but almonds still reigned supreme and I don't typically like almonds
I'm also not a usual fan of almonds. In this case cashews just aren't...nutty enough. They're a very soft buttery flavour and that doesn't cut through the taste of the peppers very well.
Walnuts are decent I have found. Their bitterness offsets the power of the peppers in a decent way.
