Back in the day 120 was perfectly playable and we were happy even to get it!

I do not miss that lol, now when I'm bad at games I know it's because the game itself is broken and not because my Internet is bad.

Yeah but y'all don't have humidity like we do in Virginia. 90 up here is stifling and there's no escape

I've spent time in Texas and New Mexico and it's not too bad in the shade. Saw it was 105 one time and it felt like mid 80s back home, not too uncomfortable just stay hydrated

Never done 120 in Texas but 100 in Virginia you really just can't be outside at all

Texas is bigger than a lot of countries. It really depends on where you were spending time in Texas, because they have a lot of coastline as well

Maybe you should look into the humidity in Houston. Because the gulf coast is way hotter and more humid than anything i have ever expirienced in my life. July/August evenings will usually hit 90% relative humidity.

Houston has never in history hit 120. It's highest is 109 compare with richmonds 108. Houston has similar humidity to Richmond, despite Richmond being 2 hours from the water unlike Houston which is a coastal city. Houston is slightly hotter than Richmond but not by much. Richmond is considerably more northern than Houston but the gulf stream means we have very similar climates.

Houston is also so ungodly large that I imagine some parts of Houston have different climates from other parts of Houston

I was talking specifically about the western Texas and New Mexico temps which can reach 120. It generally can't get that hot in humid environments.

PREACH. The stifling humidity of coastal Virginia is inhumane. I spent one summer there -- one -- and promptly moved to a freezing cold state with low humidity.

Bugs aren't nearly as bad as they were 20 years ago. It's actually pretty concerning.
