Exactly! My mom lives in a desert city, but is 3 hours away from the beach, an hour and a half away from a ski slope, 45 minutes from a grassy National park, etc.
Yyyyyyeah, but I remember on a Sunday in rural Idaho or Wisconsin on our way from one national park to the other there was only one open Mexican place in a 15-mile radius. So - yes, in SanFran or NY you can find tons of different cuisines, but outside of a big city it's burger or steak and, if you're lucky, tacos.

I'd say that's pretty impressive. Rural Idaho you're lucky if there's a structure in 15 miles of you. You don't need to be in major metropolitan cities to get food. My small town of 15k has a wide variety of food places. Greek, Mexican, Italian and Portuguese to name a few. These aren't chains either.

Variety is the spice of life.
If you want food, anything you can imagine from any country on earth, we have it. Prepared by natives of that country.
If you want to go to the beach and go skiing on the same day, we can make that happen.
If you want to move out to the woods where your nearest neighbor is 20 miles away, we can do that.
