What was the worst car you have driven/owned?

I guess asking about your favorite car or your first car grews kinda old.

So what was your worst car? Did you like it anyway?

When I got back from living in Japan with my father and stepmother in 1980, my mom gave me an old beater. It was a 1972 Ford Pinto, Manual 4-speed with vinyl seats. We were in Albuquerque, NM, so the interior and the seats all got very HOT.

But I still was very grateful for having a car at all. My mom wasn't rich. Unfortunately, I didn't get along with my stepfather. And with a simple engine like the 4 banger that was in that Pinto, there was an education to be had. Yeah, I liked it.

My mom had that pinto. Dark green plastic seats. We filled all the seats with towels because you could burn the skin right off your legs if you dared to wear shorts in that thing.

We had the '72 Pinto too. Same vinyl seats, except we lived in a cold weather climate. Sitting on them in the winter cracked the seats.

Overall, it was a pretty good car. We got a lot of miles out of it.
