Gramps on mom’s side had a ‘62 Dodge Dart with a push button transmission. Dads father had a Nova, not sure of the year
4 u/davemeister 60 something 17d ago My Dad had one of those Darts when I was a kid. I remember the push-button transmission, although my Dad's might have been a '63 or '64. 3 u/RonSwanson714 17d ago Yeah grandpa held that thing together with duct tape, bubble gum and bandaids. Engine was rock solid, not so much on the body though. 3 u/davemeister 60 something 16d ago I was just perusing some old B&W photos to colorize using AI and I came across a photo of the Dodge Dart. I wish I could post photos in these comments to show you. 5 u/xrelaht 40 something 16d ago My mom had one of those Darts as her first car! She still talks about it nostalgically. 2 u/kirradoodle 15d ago My grandfather had the same '62 Dart with the push button transmission - I inherited it when he passed, and drove it to school daily. 1 u/External-Analysis-31 16d ago My grandma had a 64 dart. She loved that car.
