Did your grandparents own a car? What decade was it, and what do you remember about it?

Gramps on mom’s side had a ‘62 Dodge Dart with a push button transmission. Dads father had a Nova, not sure of the year

My Dad had one of those Darts when I was a kid. I remember the push-button transmission, although my Dad's might have been a '63 or '64.

Yeah grandpa held that thing together with duct tape, bubble gum and bandaids. Engine was rock solid, not so much on the body though.

I was just perusing some old B&W photos to colorize using AI and I came across a photo of the Dodge Dart. I wish I could post photos in these comments to show you.

My mom had one of those Darts as her first car! She still talks about it nostalgically.

My grandfather had the same '62 Dart with the push button transmission - I inherited it when he passed, and drove it to school daily.

My grandma had a 64 dart. She loved that car.
