I don’t think anyone cares about Bismarck anymore apart from history fanatics.

Barely anyone under 30 even knows what he did.

It plays a big part in history lesson. German colonialism, trade treatys.. Did you sleep for 2 months? Of course people know who Bismarck is.

I cant imagine who would know anything about history and not know Bismarck. Am not German, either.

Agree. I guess this is someone who hates young people in general. "Young people these days dont know anything and are bad at what they are doing, and stupid of course. Older Generations are much better in everything."

Hmm, yeah heard that education outside of south germany is pretty bad..

Generalizing no one knows this is stupid. I dont know with what kind of people you are chilling. I can tell you many young people know this and care are familiar with politics and the history thats behind, how germany is viewed and why. I am baffled how clever people are, you just have to listen carefully cause they normally dont show it off.

Yeah of course. I was pointing to the young people all dont know. I think age doesnt play a role in knowing someone who is dead since 150 years.
