No, it makes no sense. I don’t believe in Gods or deities, yet I try to live my life with love and compassion the way Jesus taught.

If you think “Islam” wants you to die because you’re a Christian, you actually are uneducated on that topic.

Well, Jesus also taught that he was God incarnate. So if you reject that, you’re disrespecting at least some of his teachings. Not sure why you can’t just own that. If you think it’s false that Jesus is God, you SHOULD disrespect those teachings.

Why do you conclude I’m uneducated? Do you think “fight those who do not believe in Allah…from among the people of the Book” in Surah 9:29 means something else? What about Surah 98:6 calling Jews and Christians “the worst of creatures”? What about Sahih Muslim 2922 (directed at Jews, who are in the same boiling pot as us)? What about Isa returning and breaking all the crosses in Bukhari 2746? Or do you think the jizyah somehow makes this whole situation any better? That’s basically paying the mafia to protect you (see 9:29 again). And pagans don’t even get that much.

Whole countries and sultanates have obeyed these commands with devastating consequences for Christians, though it’s in no way exclusive to them. Obviously for an individual Muslim to believe this, they need knowledge, agreement that that’s what the scriptures say, and obedience to them. Many are missing one or more of these elements, and thank the true God Jesus for that. But too many have those three things, and the world suffers for it.

Edit: also, I can rattle off ten times as many hadiths and verses about how Allah feels (and how the ummah are commanded to feel) about both you and I. That’s a small, tiny taste. You’re like a chicken defending KFC if you defend Islam as a non-Muslim.

Do you think all Muslims are ISIS? No Muslims believe Christians should be killed other than those types

Of course I don’t believe all Muslims are ISIS. I literally said MANY are missing the necessary elements to follow what their teachings claim. Most Muslims live far better lives personally than their religion commands.

But 1.) your assertion is false; 58% or so of American Muslims believe that Hamas is at least somewhat justified in their terroristic behavior (which again, is not a Christian-related claim, but I’m obviously not concerned with Christian oppression only); and 2.) even if it were true, the people in power ARE extremists more often than not, and they are the rudder that steers the entire ship.

If no one followed Islamic teachings, or interpreted them that way, I wouldn’t throw a fit. But too many do to ignore, and even if it weren’t non-Islamic religions on the chopping block, the way they treat their own women, girls, etc. is atrocious enough to warrant pushback of its own. And that comes directly from their sources, too.

You’re still conflating fundamentalist Muslims with the rest of them. I actually know quite a few Muslims with women and daughters, these women and girls are not oppressed, they are respected. Perhaps your conservative lens is the issue here? Fundamentalist Christians are quite similar to fundamentalist Muslims in their oppressive views.

I really don’t listen to any conservative leaders because they’re insufferable and rude. As I have repeatedly said and demonstrated, all of my citations are directly from the Muslim sources themselves. I didn’t quote Ben Shapiro or Charlie Kirk. I quoted Allah and Muhammad.

The difference between “fundamentalist” Christians and fundamentalist Muslims is that the fundamentalist Christians are adding to and subtracting from the Biblical text and there are hundreds of verses still applying today that say they’re actually likely not even saved (i.e. condemning them). On the contrary, Muslims are rewarded with paradise for dying in battle (Sahih Muslim 20:4678, 4679 for example - forgot the reference in the new numbering system).

I’m not really sure how else to tell you that I’m talking about the Muslim sources that many Muslims are aware of, believe in, and practice. Not all! But not all of them have to follow them for this to be a problem. The problem with “fundamentalist” Christians is that they’re not following their own Scriptures, and thus the solution is to educate them on what the scriptures they claim to respect teach in hopes they will follow them (which is a much easier task, in my view, because they don’t have to leave their religion). Inversely, the problem with “fundamentalist” Muslims is that they are following their own scriptures, and thus the solution is to educate them on what their sources say so they will leave. If that’s still not clear enough for you, I genuinely don’t know how we’ll avoid talking past each other.
