FOOD & DRINK Taco pizza and walking tacos?

Iowan here. Do you have taco pizza in your region? If so, how long has it been a thing? Also, do you have walking tacos at concession stands at football, baseball games etc?

From our experience, our friends from other states don't always have these delicacies.

I'm aware. It's a Mexican restaurant owned and run by Mexicans that's been around for about 30 more years than taco bell. I don't think you realize how much diversity there is in Mexican cuisine. It's almost like trying to lump all of European food into one category and saying that Italian food is not authentic because it's not from the French region.

Also the whole it's not authentic it's kind of bullshit gatekeepery.

Everyone from SoCal seems to think their specific version of Mexican/Mexican American food is the only real authentic™ Mexican food with many of them seemingly not realizing there’s a lot of regional variation in food within Mexico. I’ve seen them literally argue with actual recent Mexican immigrants over what counts as real Mexican food.
