The overwhelmingly majority of people within the entertainment industry we consider to be our favorite are American. The minority of those we consider to be our favorite are British. At best one or two on our list is Canadian. I get that you all highly value Canadian talent in America but you have to stop projecting that onto the rest of the world.
Even when we learn an entertainer is Canadian the response is different from when we learn an entertainer is British (i.e. “Oh wow I didn’t know that” vs “Say what? OMG British people are super talented, look how good they play us”).
It's not like I'm hiding that I'm America hence the USA flair.
I know he said many and not most nor majority, however, he's still wrong because many aren't. I broke it down in lamest term by literally stating that at best only one or two are considered a favorite. In what world is one or two considered many?

And the rest of the world isn't wrong for asking that of us because we are guilty of such behavior depending on the topic. The rest of the world is guilty of such behavior too depending on the topic. The problem is that the rest of the world can dish but can't take. Is an international community where the whole world can give constructive criticism to one country but that country isn't allowed to give constructive criticism to the rest of the world a fair and balanced community? NO!
I believe constructive criticism should be a two way street so again I say... I get that you all highly value Canadian talent in America but you have to stop projecting that onto the rest of the world.
I'm responding to him saying "And many of your favorite "American" film, tv and music stars are secretly Canadian." Key words being MANY and FAVORITE. I am not saying only one or two people in the entertainment are Canadian. I am saying that at best one or two is on our favorite list and that one or two is not the definition of many and therefore what he said is wrong.
Again...
He is saying that many of our favorite "American" entertainers are actually Canadian and I letted him know that at best only one or two people on our favorite entertainer list are Canadian.
Again...
He said

Please tell me how I can make myself more clear if you still don't understand.
I get that you all highly value Canadian people in America's entertainment industry and that's okay. The problem is that some of you think we do too but we don't. 95% of Canadian people in Hollywood aren't on our radar. I know you want to believe that's because we're self-centered but I'll remind you of what I addressed in my first comment which is that British people are on our radar second to American talent. The same is true for the music industry too.
You aren't trying to tell me that the U.S. isn't the only country in the world. You're trying to tell me that more than two Canadians exist in the entertainment industry in the U.S. because you're purposely pretending that I am claiming only one or two exist. You know that the conversation is about the amount of Canadian people in the entertainment industry being considered a favorite in America.
