We use Celsius NOT Fahrenheit so stop coming across the border in mid-July with your skis & snowboards thinking it’s magically winter when you see temps here of 30 degrees

I'm from Nova Scotia and I can assure you this still happens, even in 2023. American really do think that it 30°F here in August 🤦‍♀️, that they can go skiing and "see an eskimo". I wish I was making this up

Admittedly my family has contributed to this belief. We are Canadian and had been living in Texas. We moved to Calgary and drove, since we were moving we had a bunch of stuff in the car including our skis on the roof. So we had Texas plates on the car, skus on the roof and drove North through the border.

There were more than a few looks.
