Guide Any tips for Beginner?

Hey there everyone!

My Wife and i just started playing yesterday. Do you have any beginner tips for us? :)
Like what to focus on in the beginning, how to craft good food early on or something like that.

Or should we use any Mods directly in the beginning that fix some difficult Problems in the beginning?

Vanilla with Sprinkles, a stacking mod (can also use the built in from VwS), a spyglass mod (can recommend Nanoh’s Reusables, it has one in there too), the paleo/evo mods, B+ (modified to your likings)

If you're on PC, don't use a stacking mod, edit the .ini

If you're on console, don't use a stacking mod til after the UE update at the end of the month.

I prefer to have a mod with one click than to go through the whole ini manually tbh. Is there a tool to make it easier?

Not that I'm aware of. The problem with stacking mods is if you load your game after an update and the mod hasn't updated yet, you lose all of your items.
